maplog is a private, friends-only map you share with people you add. Take a photo and it lands on the map exactly where you were, connected into the path of your day. If you have a question, run into a problem, or want to request something about your account or data, reach out and we'll get back to you.
maplog needs location to place a photo where you took it. Make sure location permission is enabled in your device Settings → maplog → Location (set to "While Using the App").
maplog is ephemeral by design. Your shots and paths are automatically and permanently deleted a couple of days after you post them. If you want to keep something, share it out before it expires. The day resets at 4 AM local time, and the previous day becomes a recap.
Open the Friends screen to send and accept requests, or use "Invite friends" to share a link. You'll only see someone's map once you've added each other.
maplog only uses location while you're using the app, to place your photos and connect your path — there is no background tracking. You can change this anytime in your device Settings → maplog → Location.
Open the app, go to the Profile tab, tap the gear (Settings) icon, scroll to Danger Zone, and tap Delete account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data. You can also email us to request deletion.
Your location and content are used only to run the app, are visible only to your friends, and are never sold or used for ads. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Email mingyouk@gmail.com with your username and a short description (a screenshot helps), and we'll sort it out.
